Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Body Wax.

Full Body Wax results typically last three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and hormones. Regular exfoliation and proper moisturization after treatment can extend smoothness. Scheduling maintenance every four to six weeks keeps your skin consistently hair-free.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on sensitive areas, but our trained therapists use gentle techniques and quality waxes to minimize pain. Breathing, short breaks, and topical numbing on request can help. Most clients find discomfort brief and well worth the long-lasting results.

Arrive clean and avoid heavy creams or oils before your appointment. Hair should be at least quarter-inch long for effective waxing. Avoid sun exposure, tanning, and strong exfoliants or retinoids 48 hours prior to reduce irritation. Communicate sensitivities or medications beforehand.

Active skin infections, severe eczema, open wounds, recent chemical peels, or certain medications (like isotretinoin) may preclude waxing. Pregnancy is usually safe but consult your practitioner if concerned. We perform patch tests and advise medical clearance when necessary to ensure your safety.

Optimal hair length is about quarter-inch (around 6mm); too short won’t grip the wax and too long increases discomfort. If hair is longer, we’ll trim to ideal length for better results. Regular waxing encourages consistent regrowth length.

You can combine services, but we recommend spacing aggressive facial treatments, peels, or deep exfoliation at least 24-48 hours before or after waxing. Light massages or manicures are usually fine. Staff will help schedule treatments for optimal skin comfort and safety.
