Results depend on skin type: up to 4 weeks for oily skin and up to 6 weeks for combination and dry skin. Daily cleansing, oil exposure, and exfoliation can shorten wear, so follow aftercare to maximize longevity.
We recommend a 24–48 hour patch test for sensitive or allergy-prone skin. Brow Code certified henna reduces irritation risk; your technician will review medical history and contraindications. Avoid service with active dermatitis or open wounds near brows.
Henna temporarily stains skin and permanently colors brow hair. Skin staining typically fades over several days to two weeks as the surface exfoliates, while hair pigment lasts longer. Duration varies with skin care, oils, and sun exposure.
Avoid excessive plucking immediately before your appointment. Technicians will map and refine your brow shape to suit your face, so arrive with natural brows if possible. Minor tweezing is fine, but major reshaping should wait until after consultation.
Cleanse the face and remove makeup; avoid oils on the brow area. Skip retinol, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion for 48–72 hours prior. If you've recently tinted or waxed brows, wait at least two weeks before henna.
Keep brows dry and avoid steam for 24 hours. Use oil-free cleansers and avoid exfoliants, saunas, and chlorinated pools to protect pigment. Gentle grooming and touch-ups every 4–6 weeks help maintain shape and color.
